Southbury's Budget Details Released
New First Selectman Jeffrey A. Manville has presented his first budget proposal.

SOUTHBURY, CT - First Selectman Jeffrey A. Manville has pitched his first budget proposal as the town’s top elected official.
Manville’s proposed town budget for fiscal 2016-17 is for $21.5 million, which represents a $500,000 or 2.3 percent increase over the current spending plan, the Republican-American reports.
The police budget increase is increasing by 9 percent or almost $200,000, and an additional $204,750 is proposed for helping to improve the condition of roads in town, the Rep-Am reports.
