Southbury's Grand List Grows, But Only Minimally: Report
The town's grand list did increase but very slightly, which could impact how much residents pay in taxes next year.

Southbury First Selectman Jeffrey Manville concedes that the relatively flat grand list will make it more challenging to keep taxes from increasing next year, the Republican-American reports.
Southbury’s 2015 grand list of $2.12 billion did increase, but only by $826,834 or 0.04 percent.
Real estate increased by 0.23 percent but motor vehicle taxes dropped by $190,920, the Rep-Am reports.

What hurt the town the most was the wastewater treatment facility at Heritage Village is now tax exempt, and had counted for $10.9 million on the grand list, the Rep-Am reports.
