Southbury's Public Works Union Receives New Contract, Pay Raises: Report
The contract was recently approved by the town.

SOUTHBURY, CT — The Public Works union received a new three-year contract which calls for raises of 2.07, 1.95 and 1.91 percent, the Republican-American reports. Officials said it amounts of a $0.50 cent an hour increase each year.
Officials said the contract is fair for everyone. The additional cost to taxpayers is about $27,000 for this budget year. There are 25 members of the union.
