Southbury's Tornado Debris Removal Complete
A tornado devastated the town and the cleanup has taken several months.

SOUTHBURY, CT — First Selectman Jeff Manville said he is pleased to announce that the tornado debris removal project is complete. Approximately 32,000 cubic yards of debris were removed from the town right of way along with the removal of countless trees and limbs during this massive undertaking.
"I want to thank all of those involved in getting the town back up and running in the aftermath of the devastating tornado of May 15th. All of the volunteers, citizens, and employees proved yet again why Southbury is a great place to live," Manville.
