Teacher Arrested for Inappropriate Text Messages Has Case Continued to October
At a pre-trial hearing Tuesday, Christopher Bantz' case was continued until Oct. 18.

Tuesday, the Pomperaug High School teacher accused of sending inappropriate text messages to a student had his case continued until October said a Waterbury Court clerk.
Christopher Bantz, 40, is charged with 4th degree sexual assault, a misdemeanor crime to which he has pleaded not guilty, according to the state judicial branch website.
Bantz's case will be continued on Oct. 18.
