Teacher Arrested for Selling Liquor to a Minor Will Have Case Continued Aug. 26

The Pomperaug High School coach arrested for selling liquor to a minor will have her case continued Aug 26.

Jennifer Jackson, 32, was originally due in Waterbury Superior Court Thursday to enter a plea.

Court officials did not return phone calls asking for details on the continuation.

CORRECTION:  The original headline of this article read: "Teacher Arrested for Selling Liquor to a Minor Misses Plea Hearing."  In fact, the reason for the continuation was unknown and it was decided the word 'misses' was incorrect and misleading and was removed along with other references to absence in the article.  We regret the error.
