Teacher Previously Accused With Sexual Assault Charged with Failure to Report
Christopher Bantz turned himself in Monday, to charges of 'failure to report.'
A teacher previously accused of sending sexual text messages to a student was charged with failure to report, Monday.
Christopher Bantz, 40 of Plainville surrendered himself to the Southbury police after learning of a warrant for his arrest for 'failure to report by a mandated reporter.'
Bantz was processed and released on a $2,500 surety bond.

Bantz, who taught at Pomperaug High School, is currently accused of sexual assault in the fourth degree for inappropriate, sexual communication with an underage student.
