“Teresa Colvin, the city's first female superintendent, petitions for a corruption task force to investigate an entrepreneur-turned-politician; Colvin's ex-partner, Jarek, investigates a suspicious murder with his new partner, Caleb.” This has been getting raves from critics. That said, it stars Jennifer Beals, who is 2 degrees of separation away from the zero-talent Andie MacDowell in my book.

Two and a Half Men, 9 p.m., CBS

The episode is called Three Hookers and a Philly Cheesesteak, which I think is also the basis for Charlie Sheen’s at-home rehab program.

Mike & Molly, 9:30 p.m., CBS

Oh dear. Molly is taking care of Jim, Mike’s mother’s dog. This is not going to be good.
