Two Charged in Altercation
George Coad, 74, of Southbury, was charged with disorderly conduct and Katie Coad, 41, of Woodbury, was charged with disorderly conduct and 3rd degree assault on separate arrest warrants on Tuesday, August 7 at approximately 11:30 a.m.
According to police, the warrants stemmed from an altercation that occurred in Southbury on August 4.

Both parties were released on bond and were scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on August, 8.

Southbury police are investigating an incident that occurred at the Lutheran Home, 990 Main Street North in Southbury, on Tuesday, August 7 at approximately 10 a.m.
According to police, there was an altercation between a resident and a guest reported and a Lutheran Home staff member had to intervene to separate the two parties. The investigation is currently on going.
