Police are investigating the larceny of a safe and cashbox both containing an undisclosed amount of money from The Lodge Bar and Grill on Southford Road.  The theft occurred between 9:15 p.m. Sunday night Aug. 1 and 10:30 a.m. on Monday Aug. 2. Anyone with information is asked to call the Southbury Police at 203-264-5912

The Women’s Fellowship of the First Congregational Church, 40 DeForest Street, Watertown, will hold their annual Rummage Sale on Friday, May 1st from 2 – 7 PM and the $5 Bag Sale on Saturday, May 2nd from 9 – 11 AM. Clothing for all ages, books, kitchenware, toys, accessories and assorted odds and ends will be available for purchase at very reasonable prices. Cash and credit cards are accepted. The money raised will help support local charitable organizations.

Saddle up and join the Second Company Governor's Horse Guard for a beautiful spring ride through scenic trails. This rain or shine equestrian event invites you to bring your horses and enjoy a morning of riding starting from their historic grounds.
Pre-registration is open now and ends on May 1. Suggested pre-event donation is $45.00, with same-day registration of $55.00.
