Update On Kettletown State Park And Swimming This Weekend
The state issued an update on Friday.

SOUTHBURY, CT — For the second straight weekend, swimming at Kettletown State Park will remain off-limits, the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection said Friday.
"All State Park Beaches – except for Kettletown – are open for the weekend. Based on test results available this morning, we have reopened Gardner Lake and Gay City. Kettletown remains closed because of the presence of blue-green toxic algae blooms. While open for swimming, a warning about these blooms is posted at Indian Well," the DEEP said in a news release.
