The Watermark Offers Seniors Weekly Technology "Helpdesk"

Technical educator on-hand to help answer computer, cell phone and tablet questions

Local seniors interested in learning more about ways to use their computers, cell phones and tablets are invited to attend The Watermark at East Hill’s free “Computer Helpdesk” program.

The weekly sessions are held every Thursday from 3:30 – 4:30 at the continuing care retirement community, located at 611 East Hill Road in Southbury. Seniors are invited to come down and learn more about new technology, including setting up their devices, basic information on texting, taking photos and making calls and best practices for using Facebook and other social media channels.

Guests must bring their own devices (Mac or PC products are welcome).

The Computer Helpdesk is part of the ongoing Watermark University program, a continuing education initiative that features diverse topics and programs designed to keep seniors’ minds and bodies fit.
