The Watermark Takes Top Prize at Soup and Sandwich Challenge

Congratulations to The Watermark at East Hill’s Jim Bain and Jason Matula on winning first prize in the “Most Original” category at River Glen Health Care Center’s Soup & Sandwich Challenge. The Watermark team crafted a tomato-basil soup paired with a Cronut (cross between a croissant and donut) grilled cheese— full of white and yellow cheddar cheese, red delicious apple and applewood smoked bacon. The event was held earlier this month and raised $4,000 towards the Breast Cancer Research Fund.
