Weekend Test Results For Kettletown State Park Swim Areas Released

Here is the latest report on water quality at state park swim areas based on final test results for the week, according to the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection.

Please note:

• The swim area at Indian Wells is closed due to bacteria levels. Water there will be retested 8/23 with results 8/24.
• The swim area at Kettletown is closed due to the presence of blue green algae blooms. The swim area will remain closed until that condition subsides.
• The swim area at Silver Sands is closed due to bacteria levels. Water there will be retested Monday, 8/21 with results available Tuesday, 8/22.
• The swim area at Lake Waramaug is closed due to bacteria levels. Water there will be retested Monday, 8/21 with results available Tuesday, 8/22.
