Western CT Health & Leisure Fair Held in Southbury [PHOTOS]
Lots of information was shared at the 4th annual event held at the Walzer Family Jewish Community Campus.
The 4th Annual Western CT Health & Leisure Fair was held on Wednesday, May 22nd from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the beautiful Walzer Family Jewish Community Campus in Southbury, CT.
The health and leisure fair focuses on three components of holistic well-being by bringing together the Southbury community and beyond in a way that celebrates positivity through healthy choices.
Over 40 local vendors sponsored tables staffed with knowledgeable professionals and there were easily several hundred in attendance. The event was extremely well-organized. WATR 1320 did a live broadcast at the beginning of the event with Steve Noxon, Christopher Fortier and Johnny the K doing his engineering things.

The William & Audrey Walzer Family Enrichment Center sponsored a very special children's area which included bubbles, face painting, and the famous "Ms. Janine" who sang in sign language and in Hebrew. Miss Wendy did face painting for the kids and there was a bubble station as well.
There were yummy free samples from Kibberia Restaurant in Danbury who produce tantalizing and fresh Mediterranean food. Free health screenings included blood pressure screenings and hearing test. Everyone who attended had a chance to win one of many prize baskets.

New this year was a meditation seminar with Lana Lachance. Attendees were given to the chance to learn how to stay healthy, stay active, find joy and find balance!
