What's Open, What's Closed In Southbury On Thanksgiving Week

See below for information on what is open and what is closed on Thursday and Friday in Southbury.

All Southbury Town Offices, Southbury Library, Senior Center, Parks & Recreation Building and Connecticut Probate District 22 will be closed on Thursday, November 23 and Friday, November 24, 2017, in observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday.
Additionally:

  • The Transfer Station will be closed on Thursday, but open on Friday and Saturday at its regular hours 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
  • The Senior Center will also be closed on Sunday. Transportation services are also cancelled that day.
  • The Southbury Public Library will be closed on Thursday and Friday. The library will be open regular business hours on Saturday (9:30 AM - 4:00 PM) and Sunday (12:00 PM - 5:00 PM).

Please also be aware of a road closure for Southbury Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving Day: Main Street South will be closed from 730 Main Street South (The Gym) to Main Street North from 8:00 a.m. to approximately 10:30 a.m. Motorists are advised to use alternate routes.
