Woodbury Man Leads Police on a 100 MPH Chase in Southbury: Report

SOUTHBURY, CT - Bradley Sullivan Hamel, 25, of Sherman Hill Road in Woodbury is accused of driving while intoxicated and leading police in Southbury on a pursuit that included speeds in excess of 100 mph early Saturday, the Republican-American reports.

Police initially witnessed the car driving erratically on Route 67 and then the car turned onto Route 188 or Strongtown Road in Southbury and continued weaving.

Police tried to pull the car over but Hamel allegedly drove off at a high rate of speed before hitting two street signs, the Rep-Am reports.
