Southington Crashes Close Roads, What Areas Are Impacted
Three separate accidents have resulted in multiple Southington streets being closed off to traffic Monday morning.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Getting around Southington Monday morning is a bit manic as three separate crashes involving motor vehicles and utility poles have closed multiple roads in town.
According to the Southington Police Department, the accidents occurred Sunday evening into early Monday morning, with all three accidents damaging utility poles and closing roads "until further notice."
All collisions resulted in minor or no injuries, however, according to police.

The accidents, police said, were in Southington and Cheshire.

• Savage Street between South End Road and Hacienda Drive.
• Summer Street between West Center Street and Knowles Avenue.
• Meriden Waterbury Turnpike between Old Turnpike Road and Honey Road (Cheshire).
Police said detours have been set up to assist motorists in navigating around the above locations.
The SPD said "businesses in the area of Meriden Waterbury Turnpike will be open, however the road is impassable (in either direction) between the intersections of Honey Road (Gulf Gas Station- 1123 Meriden Waterbury Road) and Birch Drive."
Officers are on the scene of each location to assist with traffic.
All roads are expected to be closed into the morning rush hour
