Aldi Hiring For Southington Store

SOUHTINGTON, CT — The Aldi supermarket chain is hiring for its new Southington store.

Two hiring events are on tap for the upcoming Aldi store in Southington, as well as current stores in Bristol and Torrington, officials said.

• The Torrington hiring event is from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 4 at the Aldi grocery store on East Elm Street
• The Bristol hiring event is from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 22 at the Aldi grocery store on Middle Street

Positions

• Store Associate - $12.75 per hour
• Shift Manager - $17.25 per hour
• Manager Trainee - $60,000 per year ($25.00 per hour averaging 45 hours per week) with an opportunity to earn $90,000 - $100,000 per year as a Store Manager

Job Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older to apply
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Must be available to work anytime between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m., Monday - Sunday
• Retail experience preferred
• Management experience preferred for Manager Trainees
• Drug screening and background check
• Ability to lift 45 pounds
