Knights of Columbus Officers Installed

Southington Knights of Columbus Officers Installed
October 19th at Mary Our Queen Church.

On October 18th, officers of Knights of Columbus Council 15 and Fourth Degree Assembly 122  elected for the fraternal year 2011-12 were officially installed at a Mass, presided by Fr. A. Waine Kargul, Council Chaplain and pastor of Mary Our Queen Church where the function took place. The
Installation Ceremony was conducted by
Charles
Sullivan - District Deputy of the Knights of Columbus and Guy Boissoneault, Past State Master.

Officers installed included: Dennis James Kelly, Grand Knight; Geroge W. Jorgensen, Past Grand Knight and Faithful Navigator of the 4th Degree Assembly; Rev. A. Waine Kargul, Chaplain; John Taillie, Deputy Grand Knight; Craig F. Jones, Chancellor; Paul Sirois, Financial Secretary; Ralph Nardi, Treasurer; Tom Murray, Recorder; Daniel Valente, Advocate; Mark Monroe, Warden; Philip A.
Hartman, Inside Guard; Randolph E. Snow, Outside Guard; George W. Jorgensen, Trustee Three Year; Roger H. Mathieu, Trustee Two Year; Charles H. Sullivan, Trustee One Year and District Deputy.

Of special note were the Life Membership Award to Robert Woods & Andrew Mead ; Honorary Life
Member awarded to Bertram Bard; Past Grand Knight and Navigator, Roger Mathieu received a commemorative sword in recognition of his service to the council and assembly.

The Craig Jones Honor Guard Award, named in his honor,  was presented to its first recipients, Bartolomeo “Benny” Cammuso & Nelson Belanger.

Founded in 1885, the Southington Isabella Council 15 celebrated its 125th anniversary last year The
Knights of Columbus is a fraternity of Catholic men putting their faith in action through voluntary service, supporting charity, church, scholarship
programs and more adhering to the principles of charity, unity, fraternity and patriotism, as its fourth degree.
