Arrest Made In Series Of Thefts In Southington

A suspect in six commercial theft cases in Southington has been arrested, police said.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A suspect in six commercial theft cases in Southington has been arrested, police said.

Southinton police announced the details of the May 12 arrest on Wednesday. That day, 21-year-old local resident Dylan Fournier was taken into custody on six outstanding warrants, police said. The warrants resulted from investigations into multiple commercial burglaries in Southington, police said.

  • On April 20, 2019, police responded to a burglary at Maid Pro (710 North Main St.). An investigation revealed that forced entry was made through a window. Northing was reported missing. Surveillance video seized at the scene identified Fournier as a suspect. A warrant charged Fournier with third-degree burglary and second-degree criminal mischief. The bond was set at $10,000.
  • On April 20, 2019, police responded to a burglary at Salon Zurrell (710 North Main St.). An investigation revealed that forced entry was made through a window. Approximately $9,100 in cash was stolen. Surveillance video seized at the scene identified Fournier as a suspect. A warrant charged with burglary and larceny, both in the third degree; and second-degree criminal mischief. Fournier's bond was set at $10,000.
  • On July 13, 2019, police responded to a burglary at Casey Image Consultants (51 North Main St.). A main door was forced open and approximately $300 in cash was stolen. DNA results from evidence seized at the scene identified Fournier as a suspect. A warrant charged him with sixth-degree larcent and third-degree burglary with apromise to appear in court.
  • On August 23, 2019 police responded to a burglary at Louie’s Barber Shop (190 Main St.), where forced entry was made through a rear door and approximately $2,500 in cash was taken, along with a bottle of alcohol and cigars. DNA results from evidence seized at the scene identified Fournier as a suspect. He was charged with third-degree burglary and third-degree larceny with a promise to appear in court.
  • On August 23, 2019, police responded to a burglary at the Hen House (190 Main St.), where a rear door was forced open and approximately $300 in cash was stolen. DNA identified Fournier as a suspect and he was charged with third-degree burglary and sixth-degree larceny with promise to appear.
  • On September 7, 2019, police responded to a burglary at the Southington Coffee Shop 51 (North Main St.), where a side door was broken and approximately $200 in cash was taken. DNA identified Fournier as a suspect and he was charged with third-degree burglary and sixth-degree larceny with promise to appear.
