Big Halloween Celebration Planned In Plantsville
The Southington neighborhood's traditional 'Halloween in the Village' event is Sunday evening.
SOUTHINGTON, CT — The weekend may start out rainy, but it will be a festive one in Southington when it comes to Halloween events.
Saturday, the Barnes Museum is hosting a Trunk or Treat event (rain or shine) and the fun continues Sunday in Plantsville with the annual "Halloween in the Village" celebration.
The event is Sunday, Oct. 22, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. in the heart of the Plantsville downtown section.

Kids and families are invited to don costumes and enjoy an evening of hay rides, children's Halloween handouts and various arts performances.
The Cindy Bungers dance studio will, even, re-create the dance routine seen in Michael Jackson's "Thriller" video from the 1980s.
