Bike Used as Getaway Vehicle After Botched Burglary in Southington: Cops
The man did not get very far, police said.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A man who is accused of using a bicycle as a getaway vehicle during a botched burglary attempt has been charged, police said.
On Oct. 19, Greg Bolduc, 34, of Southington, was charged with criminal attempt to commit
third-degree burglary, possession of burglary tools, third-degree criminal mischief, and second-degree breach of peace.

The charges stemmed from Bolduc allegedly attempting to break into the shed of a residence on Mill Street, police said.
An area resident reported that Bolduc was attempting to pry the shed open, according to a report.

Bolduc fled the area on a bicycle and was located by police on Queen Street, according to a report.
He was then taken into custody without incident, police said. Bolduc was released on a $5,000 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Bristol Superior Court on Oct. 30, police said.
