The Blue Knights take 4th Place at Regional Championships

The Blue Knights Marching Band continued to impress at the Regional Championships in Trumbull, CT on Saturday, November 4.

The day was structured as a double competition day, where bands competed by division in prelims, and then the top 12 bands advanced to the finals at night. In the prelims, the Blue Knights finished 3rd in their Division 6 Open group, with a score of 93.575. Only .4 points separated the top 3 bands in their division. Norwalk took first place with a score of 93.975.

The Blue Knights advanced to the finals to compete for the regional title. The bands in the finals represented Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts and New Jersey. The Blue Knights finished in the overall 4th spot with an impressive score of 95.6. Trumbull took 3rd with a 95.763, and Norwalk was 2nd with a 96.2. The defending regional champions from Dartmouth, Massachusetts re-gained the top spot with a score of 96.713. All 4 bands will compete again at the National Championships this Saturday, November 11, at the Met Life Stadium in New Jersey.
