Consignment Shopping - and Selling!
As a mom who tries to save money on any kids items I can, I have found consignment shops to be the best value.
Being a cost-effective mom, I have learned that consignment can be as good as new.
The best part of consignment is, you can trade in your maternity or children's clothes, toy, books, etc., that they have outgrown to use as credit towards other items you are in need of. This not only helps you save money, but you also help out another family who may be trying to get credit for something that they need. I call this a win-win situation.
The best consignment shop I have found is in Southington, CT. is located in Riverbend Plaza, 1079 Queen St. #12 Southington, CT 06489. Lori and Jill are wonderful to work with. They have a waiting list at the store for you in case you are looking for something that they do not have in the store at the time, and they will call you as soon as that item is available. They also have many discounts and a stamp card so with every purchase you work towards a certain percentage off your purchase. Seconds, Please! also earned the second best consignment award in 2010.
