Bridge Work Prompting Detours In Southington

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A major detour is being set up because of bridge work in Southington.

Repairs to the Hart Street Bridge are scheduled to begin on Monday, June 17. The project is expected to take two to three days to complete, police said.

The bridge will be closed between 7 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. during the day and traffic will be

detoured, police said.

The bridge will reopen to traffic each night, police said.
