Busy Southington Roadway To Be Closed Overnight: Police
The closure is so work crews perform road construction.
SOUTHINGTON, CT — Local police Tuesday announced that a busy roadway in town will be closed overnight for construction.
The Southington Police Department said Meriden Avenue (from Main Street to Oakland Road) will be closed from 7 p.m. Tuesday until 7 a.m. Wednesday for road work.
Police said detours will be put into place from Main Street to Old Turnpike Road to Southington Avenue to Meriden Avenue.
