A car wound up in a road during a driveway dispute among neighbors, Southington police said.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A car wound up in a road during a driveway dispute among neighbors, Southington police said.
Police released the details of the Aug. 30 incident on Friday. That day, Thomas A. Taricani Jr., 48 of Southington, was arrested and charged with tampering with a motor vehicle, second-degree breach of peace and second-degree reckless endangerment.
He was released on a $5,000 non-surety bond and given a court date of Sept. 10, police said.

According to a report, Taricani was involved in a dispute with a neighbor over a "parking situation" in
a driveway they share. At some point, Taricani allegedly tampered with a transmission cable on the neighbor’s vehicle and then pushed the vehicle out of the driveway and into the middle of Bristol Street, according to a report.
The vehicle was blocking the southbound lane of Bristol Street when police arrived, a report indicates.
