Crash On Southington Highway Cleared: Update

The accident involved a tractor trailer and another vehicle, according to the state.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A two-vehicle crash involving a tractor trailer badly slowed traffic on Interstate 84 in Southington Monday afternoon, according to the state Department of Transportation, but it is now cleared.

DOT officials report the crash happened on I-84 westbound between exits 30 and 29, resulting in the left and center lanes being closed.

The crash was reported at 1:03 p.m. and it was reported "cleared" by 1:46 p.m. Monday afternoon, according to the DOT.
