SOUTHINGTON, CT — A multi-vehicle wreck on Interstate 84 in Southington Thursday morning caused serious traffic headaches for motorists, according to the state Department of Transportation, but it is now closed.
The DOT reports the accident was on I-84 East between exits 32 and 33, resulting in the left and center lanes being closed.
The crash was first reported at 6:41 a.m. and it is no now longer listed on the DOT's accident report.

This accident is not far from an overturned tractor-trailer crash in nearby Plainville.
Crews were still on the scene of that situation, which was first reported at 1:47 a.m. and had caused the complete closure of I-84.

The tractor-trailer rollover was on I-84 East between exits 34 and 35 and the left and center lanes there were closed.
By late morning Thursday, that scene was cleared as well, according to the DOT.
