Crash That Closed Highway Interchange In Southington Cleared: Update

SOUTHINGTON, CT — An Interstate interchange in Southington was closed Wednesday morning following a crash, according to the state Department of Transportation, but the scene has now been cleared.

DOT officials said Interstate 84's westbound Exit 27 to the Interstate 691 eastbound ramp was closed because of the accident.

The crash was first reported at 8:58 a.m. and it is now not being listed on the DOT's incident report.
