Crash Closes Road In Southington Tuesday Morning

SOUTHINGTON, CT — An early morning crash in Southington has resulted in the closure of one of its roads during the morning, impacting home access to many residents.

According to the Southington Police Department, the upper portion of Shuttle Meadow Road will be closed at the intersection with North Shuttle Street/Longbottom Road.

No access can be made to North Shuttle Street and Longbottom Road due to a single-vehicle collision into a utility pole.

Residents of the upper portion of Shuttle Meadow Road, Hawk’s Nest Drive and Ledge Road should access their homes from Woodford Avenue in Plainville.

Residents looking to access Crescent Lake should also do so from Woodford Ave to Ledge Road in Plainville.
