Southington Accident On I-84 Cleared: Update

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Traffic was slowed on Interstate 84 in Southington Friday afternoon after a motor vehicle accident, according to the state Department of Transportation, but that crash has now been cleared.

The DOT reported the single-vehicle wreck was on I-84 eastbound between exits 31 and 32.

This is resulted in the left lane being closed, according to the state.

The DOT said the crash was first reported at 3:33 p.m. and reported "cleared" by 4 p.m.
