Crash Cleared In Southington: UPDATE

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A two-vehicle wreck on Interstate 84 in Southington early Monday afternoon caused slow-going for motorists, according to the state Department of Transportation, but it is now cleared.

The DOT reports the crash happened on I-84 eastbound between exits 30 and 31.

As a result of the accident, the left lane was closed, according to the DOT.

The state said the crash was first reported at 12:09 p.m. and it is now no longer on the DOT incident report list.
