Update: Crash Cleared On I-691 In Southington

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A single-vehicle wreck on Interstate 691 in Southington caused traffic headaches Tuesday afternoon, but it is now cleared.

According to the state Department of Transportation, the crash was on the westbound side between exits 4 and 3, resulting in the left lane being closed.

The crash was reported at 2:47 p.m. and the DOT reported it was cleared by 3:20 p.m.
