Dentist Who Practiced in Southington Ordered to Pay Back $700K
He was being tried in a Medicaid billing case.

SOUTHINGTON, CT —A former Southington dentist has been told by a judge to pay back more than $700,000 worth or restitution for faulty Medicaid billing, the Record-Journal reported.
Douglas Macko committed the infractions between 2002 and 2009, according to the story.
Hartford Superior Court Judge A. Susan Peck ruled earlier this month that Macko, of Winsted, improperly billed the Medicaid program for dental cleanings and fluoride treatments.
