Downed Wires Cleared, Southington Road Reopens: UPDATE

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A state roadway in Southington was closed this morning following a report of downed utility wires on the pavement, according to the state Department of Transportation, but it appears to have been cleared.

The DOT reports that Route 10 (Main Street) in Southington was closed between Chestnut Street and Bristol Street.

The incident was first reported at 5:02 a.m. and it is now no longer being listed on the DOT's incident report.
