HHC Senior Services offers health tips & demos at farmers market
... Including chefs from Mulberry Gardens, Southington Care Center & The Orchards who will present healthy cooking demos at Aug. 10 market!
SOUTHINGTON – Visitors to the Friday, Aug. 10 Farmers Market on the Southington Town Green will be able to pick up all types of free health tips in addition to their fresh produce. Hartford HealthCare professionals will be offering cooking demonstrations, healthy brain tips, recipes, resources and health information including how laughter can enhance the quality of life.
Presenters will represent Hartford HealthCare Center for Healthy Aging, Hartford HealthCare Central Region Cancer Centers, Hartford HealthCare Independence at Home, Mulberry Gardens of Southington, The Orchards at Southington and Southington Care Center.
