The store also features a wide collection of work clothing and "rugged footwear" from Carhartt, Dickies and TimberlandPro, according to its website.
News of the opening comes as a bit of good news on the economic development front in Southington.
Last winter, Southington's Bed, Bath & Beyond store shuttered amid the store's corporate owner's bankruptcy.
That store was located in the same building as the new, Bob's store that is coming in time for Christmas shopping.
The Meriden Record-Journal reports that Bob's opening is imminent and could happen by this weekend.
