Man Driving Vintage Car Killed in Southington Crash
A man was killed in an vintage car on Friday in a crash police are still investigating.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A man was killed in an vintage car on Friday in a crash police are still investigating.
Police said at 4:38 p.m. on Friday, Arthur Kelly, 75, of Southington, was operating a 1941
Willys Model 441 in a southerly direction on North Main Street when, in the area of Dunkin Donuts, his
vehicle crossed the double yellow lines and collided with a parked, unoccupied vehicle off the road and
shoulder.
Kelly’s vehicle sustained heavy damage, police said. Kelly was ejected from the car, sustained
serious injuries, and was pronounced dead after being taken top an area hospital, police said.

The parked vehicle sustained moderate damage and no other injuries were reported, police said.
The road was closed for several hours, police said.
