Motorcycle Crashes Into Home In Southington, Driver Airlifted

SOUTHINGTON, CT — The driver of a motorcycle was airlifted to an area hospital after his bike crashed into a home in Southington early Thursday morning, police said.

The crash took place at 1:05 a.m. along the 100 block of Oakland Road in Southington.

A 911 call to police indicated that the motorcycle had hit No. 139.

Police said investigators determined that the motorcycle, with a single rider aboard, was traveling east before hitting the home. The driver of the motorcycle was later identified as 32-year-old Marc Revis, of Southington.

Police said Revis suffered serious injuries and was transported by ambulance to The Hospital of Central Connecticut's Bradley Campus, where he was then flown by Life Star helicopter to Hartford Hospital. Police said Revis is currently listed as being in critical, unstable condition.
