Multi-Vehicle Crash Cleared In Southington: UPDATE

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A multi-vehicle wreck on Interstate 84 in Southington late Thursday afternoon caused traffic headaches for PM commuters, according to the state Department of Transportation, but it is now cleared.

The DOT reports the three-vehicle crash was on I-84 West between exits 32 and 31.

As a result, the left and center lanes were closed, according to the DOT, and traffic was backed up 3.8 miles.

The accident was first reported at 4:46 p.m. and it is now no longer listed on the DOT's accident report list.
