PARC fundraiser set for Dec. 8 at Panera

PLAINVILLE – PARC, which provides family centered services for people with developmental disabilities in Plainville and contiguous towns, is planning a fundraiser for Saturday, Dec. 8 at Panera Bread. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to PARC from purchases made 4 to 8 p.m. at Panera Bread, 365 Queen St. in Southington. Customers need to bring a flyer or an electronic version to the cashier when the order is placed.

PARC, which was founded more than 60 years ago, promotes and protects the human rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and actively supports their full inclusion and participation in the community throughout their lifetimes by providing family centered support, direct services and advocacy.

“We are thrilled with the ongoing support of our mission by community partners including our newest, Panera Bread,” said Erica Donovan, PARC executive director.

Panera flyers, which are required to make the donation, can be printed from the PARC website www.parcdisabilitiesct.org or from the PARC, Inc. Facebook page; or by calling the office at 860.747.0316.

PARC, located at 28 E. Maple St. in Plainville, is a 501(c)3 organization.
