Parking Ban Imposed in Southington

SOUTHINGTON, CT — The Town of Southington and the Southington Police Department have implemented a parking ban on all streets for 24 hours beginning Wednesday afternoon.

The ban is effective at noon on Wednesday and will run until noon on Thursday, police said.

The ban is designed to keep cars off the road during the anticipated heavy snow and to give plow crews room to work, police said.
