Judge Sentences Southington Man Convicted of Sexual Assault, Risk of Injury Charges (ct.gov) — A Southington man has been sentenced to a decade-long term, with prison time and probation, after being convicted in Rockville Superior Court of second-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor. Prosecutors highlighted the victim's courage in reporting the 2020 assault, testifying in detail, and helping secure a sentence they say reinforces accountability and encourages other victims to come forward.
