Pizza Delivery Driver Robbed At Knifepoint At Southington Motel 6
A pizza delivery driver was robbed at knifepoint at a motel in Southington, police said.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A pizza delivery driver was robbed at kifepoint at a Motel 6 in Southington, police said.
At 7:14 p.m. Friday, police received a report about an armed robbery at the Motel 6, 625 Queen St., according to a report.
A delivery driver for Vivaldi’s Pizza brought an order to a room at the motel, but no one answered the door. The driver then called the number from which the order was, and agreed to meet the customer in the parking lot of the motel. The driver was then held him up at knifepoint, according to a report.

The bandit stole $273 in U.S. currency and a small amount of Indian Currency from the driver, according to a report. The suspect fled the area on foot in a southerly direction and police were able to obtain subscriber information on the cell phone that was used to place the food order. Patrick Brown, 19, of Hartford was identified as the subscriber and was further identified by the driver off a photo obtained by police, according to a report.
Brown was registered to a room at the motel and a track of the phone showed he was still nearby. He was found in the room with a knife and the money, according to a report. He was also found to be in possession of crack cocaine, police said.

Brown was arrested and charged with first-degree robbery, sixth-degree larceny and possession of crack cocaine. He was being held on $250,000 bond and was scheduled to appear in Bristol Court on Monday, police said.
