Police: Money Missing From Southington High School

A report indicates a bookkeeper is on leave,

SOUTHINGTON – A safe at Southington High School had $9,000 taken from it and a high school bookkeeper is on leave while police look into the circumstances, the Record-Journal reported.

On Sept. 1 around 3:30 p.m. police were notified of a theft at the school, Lt. Michael Baribault told the newspaper.

The detective division is actively investigating, according to the story.
