Police: Southington Man Threatened School After Dispute
The man allegedly made threats to the school and school personnel after a dispute regarding how a situation between two students was handled

A Southington man was arrested after he allegedly threatened the John F. Kennedy Middle School and staff.
On Dec. 15 the school resource office was investigating an issue between two students at the school, according to police. As part of the investigation David Klash, 49, was contacted.
He was speaking with the principal, vice principal and SRO via speakerphone when he became irate and began screaming about how the situation was being handled unfairly, police said.

He allegedly made threats against the school and school personal.
Klash was located by Middletown Police and was taken into custody.

Klash was charged with second-degree breach of peace and second-degree threatening. He was released after posting a $100,000 bond.
