Restricted Parking Access Continued At Southington Library
The work is being done in connection with the ongoing new Southington Public Library building project.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Evening parking lot access at the Southington Public Library will continue to be limited through, at least, June 29.
According to library officials Thursday, parking lot utility work has been extended through, at least, that day.
As a result, the library said, its "parking lot will continue to close after 8 p.m. for utility work on the new building."

In recognition of this limited access, no fines will accrue for library materials due during the above dates, according to the library.
Originally, the limited evening access, which started on June 3, was to last until this Saturday, June 15.
But the utility work, being done in connection with the ongoing construction of a new Southington Public Library nearby, is going to be ongoing longer than expected.
