Road Project Tuesday To Hamper Plantsville Motorists: Southington PD

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Motorists in the Plantsville section of Southington will need to be a bit patient Tuesday, with local police Tuesday morning announcing some traffic issues.

The Southington Police Department said detours will be in place in Plantsville Center's Main Street due to an ongoing roadway project.

The detours will only impact northbound Main Street motorists, police said.

According to police, the project is expected to be complete by 4 p.m. Tuesday (Feb. 27), and "proper signage has been placed and there are Southington police officers present for traffic control."
